Mac installation details

Version 0.2.2 · macOS 13 or later · Internet required. Create a free account to get started. Windows download is not available yet.

Check Apple menu → About This Mac to confirm your chip matches the download. Open the disk image and drag intervl to Applications, then open intervl from Applications.

Sign in with your existing intervl email/password. If you normally use Strava sign-in, add email sign-in in your browser’s intervl profile first. Connect Strava or Wahoo in your browser; connected services carry over to the app. Manual sensor selection is currently required. Updates are installed manually after saving and quitting your ride.

Plan anywhere.
Pair in the right browser.

Creating workouts and viewing recaps do not require Bluetooth. Controlling a trainer does—and browser support differs.

Use a current browser over HTTPS. Browser capability is not a guarantee for every device, trainer model or firmware. Our real-ride validation so far is on a Wahoo KICKR; broader hardware testing is ongoing. Reference: Chrome Web Bluetooth guide and browser compatibility data.

A few things before your first ride.

Bring a compatible trainer

Resistance control requires Bluetooth FTMS support. Separate Bluetooth power, cadence and heart-rate sensors can fill those roles. ANT+ and proprietary-only trainer control are not supported.

Give intervl the connection

Power on your trainer, enable Bluetooth, allow the browser’s Bluetooth permission and disconnect other training apps. A saved browser shortcut does not bypass Bluetooth restrictions.
